Your privacy is important to us at Tabor Film Festival, so we pay special attention to protecting your personal data.
This document is intended to clarify what personal data we process, why we do so, and what we do with the processed personal data.
We collect and process your data solely for the purpose of ensuring quality of our services in a legal, fair, and transparent manner.
We process only the data necessary to provide a specific service, while taking care to secure adequate protection.
Such personal data primarily relates to natural persons who we have a business relationship with or a legitimate interest in, i.e. people who have given informed and unequivocal consent (if there is no other basis for it) to be contacted (customers, clients, providers, business partners, employees etc.).
Your personal data is erased once there is no need for its processing or legal grounds for its storage.
We always process personal data in accordance with our core values and principles, this Privacy Policy, as well as any applicable European and Croatian regulations concerning the protection of personal data.
This Privacy Policy applies equally to personal data in digital form as well as any personal data in printed (paper) form, regardless of whether it is a hard copy of an electronic record.

PRINCIPLES RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette 42/2018), we exclusively process your personal data:
• in a lawful, fair and transparent manner;
• for specific, precisely defined and lawful purposes;
• using only correct, up-to-date, appropriate and relevant data, restricted to the specific purpose of their processing;
• only so long as necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing;
• ensuring the data is protected against any unauthorized or illegal processing, or accidental loss, destruction or damage.
We process the personal data of children under the age of 16 only on the grounds of the consent of a parent or guardian, and only to the extent and scope as defined in the consent. We treat such data with particular care.
In case of a personal data breach which is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, Tabor Film Festival shall notify the supervisory authority and the data subject (directly or using other, equally effective measures) regarding the personal data breach, unless Tabor Film Festival has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data, and the said measures have concerned the personal data affected by the personal data breach, i.e. if Tabor Film Festival has taken subsequent measures to ensure it is no longer likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
DEFINITIONS
We use the following terms, among others, in this Privacy Policy:
Personal Data
‘Personal data’ means any data that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. An identifiable individual is a person who can be directly or indirectly identified, particularly by reference to identifiers such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifiers, or one or several features which are characteristic for the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the individual.
Processing
‘Processing’ means any process or set of processes applicable to personal data, including automated processes such as the collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment, restriction, erasure or destruction of personal data.
Restriction of processing
‘Restriction of processing’ means marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting its processing in the future.
Profiling
‘Profiling’ means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyze and predict aspects concerning the natural person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location or movements.
Data controller
A ‘data controller’ means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such personal data processing are determined by the law of a EU Member State, the specific criteria for the nomination of the controller will fall under the jurisdiction of the EU Member State.
Data processor
‘Data processor’ means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.
Consent
‘Consent’ of the data subject means any specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the individual’s wishes by which they, by a statement or a clear affirmative action, signify agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Right to be informed
Individuals have the right to clear and transparent information written in plain language with regards to the ways in which Tabor Film Festival uses their personal data.
Right of access
Individuals have the right to access the personal data relating to them provided to Tabor Film Festival, subject to specified restrictions.
Right to rectification
Individuals have the right to have their personal data rectified and/or completed.
Right to erasure / Right to be forgotten
Individuals have the right to request their personal data to be erased or removed if they withdraw the consent as the only basis for data processing, if the interest of protecting the privacy of individuals override the legitimate interest of Tabor Film Festival for processing, and in cases of any illegal processing.
The right to have their personal data erased and/or removed is not an absolute right seeing that Tabor Film Festival may have legal or legitimate grounds to retain individuals’ personal data.
Right to object
Individuals have the right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data which is done based on public interest considerations or certain legitimate interests, including profiling.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Individuals have the right to contact the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) and lodge a complaint regarding data protection and the implementation of Data Protection Policy.
Before lodging a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency, individuals may contact the Data Controller with any inquiries regarding the processing of their personal data and the protection of their rights.
Right to restrict processing
Individuals have the right to request that the processing of their data be restricted. This right restricts the processing of individuals’ data, which means Tabor Film Festival may store them but cannot use them or process them further.
If they wish to know more about their rights and how to exercise them, individuals may contact the Data Controller at the addresses specified above.
POSSIBILITY OF CONTACT VIA THE WEBSITE
The Data Controller’s website contains information which enable quick electronic contact or direct communication, including an e-mail address. Should an individual contact the Data Controller via e-mail or the contact form, the personal data provided is automatically stored only on the e-mail server. The personal data voluntarily provided by the individual to the Data Controller is automatically stored for future processing or communication with the individual. No personal data of this kind is transferred to a third party or is used for user profiling.
COOKIES
