ARTICLE 1

The 22nd International Short Film Festival Tabor Film Festival is organized by the company obnomika d.o.o. and will be held from July 5th to 6th, 2024 in Veliki Tabor Castle, Desinić.

The festival is supported by Croatian Audiovisual Center, Krapina-Zagorje County, Desinić Municipality, the Museum of Croatian Zagorje, DHFR and other partners and sponsors

The aim of the festival is to promote short films and authors of short films, while we pay special attention to local authors and films that we help to be part of the program of other short film festivals in Europe and beyond.

The festival has a program of two competition programs, domestic and international competition in which films of all genres (feature, documentary, animated, experimental) are represented.

ARTICLE 2

Films can be entered in one competition category:

Domestic competition program for short films (up to 30 minutes).

International competition program for short films (up to 30 minutes).

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 3

Films made after January 1, 2022 can apply.

Short feature films, documentaries, animated and experimental films up to 30 minutes in length, including opening and closing credits, can participate in mentioned category.

Films must have English subtitles.

ARTICLE 4

Submitted and selected films must be available in high quality digital format: Quicktime or MP4 (Codec H264). Other movie formats will not be accepted. Films must be in the original version and with English titles.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

ARTICLE 5

Domestic short films can be submitted via the form available on the official website of the TFF: https://forms.gle/UknGiJYBmF9mFNoM8 . Entries are free for all films. The online link to the film screener must be available before the start of the Festival via the cloud video service (Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive…). Movies are not sent using large file transfer tools (WeTransfer, My Air Bridge (). Movies cannot be sent in DVD format.

International short films can be submitted via the form available on the official website of the TFF: https://forms.gle/zvzLu1ddptuYXzCBA . Entries are free for all films. The online link to the film screener must be available before the start of the Festival via the cloud video service (Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive…). The festival has the right to use all materials, including media materials (photos of the director and crew, photos from the film, videos, trailers, trailers and all other content derived from film works, which the film sends us in the selection process or after selecting a film in the competition festival program), for the purpose of promotion in the written media, TV, digital media and all media that exist or will exist, indefinitely and spatially.

ARTICLE 6

The deadline for film submissions is May 25, 2024

ARTICLE 7

In case of incomplete application, the jury will not consider the project.

SELECTION OF FILMS

ARTICLE 8

Festival selectors select films for all competition programs of the TFF. Applicants for films selected for screening will receive screening information via the email address provided in the application form.

The list of selected films will be published on the official websites of the organizers (www.obnomika.hr) and Tabor Film Festival (www.taborfilmfestival.com), as well as through profiles on social networks.

VISIT OF DIRECTORS AND AUTHORS

ARTICLE 9

You will be contacted by the guest office about the eventual visit of the director and author whose films have been included in the official selection of the TFF, with clearly stated conditions.

JURY AND AWARDS

ARTICLE 10

The Domestic Festival Jury has 3 members. The members of the jury are various professionals involved in the film industry, and they take turns every year. The jury will decide on the winner of the domestic short film competition program and he/she will receive a prize of 200 euros (total cost! – including VAT).

The International Festival Jury has 3 members. The members of the jury are various professionals involved in the film industry. The jury will decide on the winner of the international short film competition program and he/she will receive a prize of 400 euros (total cost! – including VAT).

POST FESTIVAL EVENTS

ARTICLE 12

The participants of the TFF agree that their films will be shown free of charge on guest appearances, reviews, retrospectives and other programs, produced by TFF organizers or organized by partner entities, until the next edition of the Tabor Film Festival.

By participating in the 22nd Tabor Film Festival, the applicant provides the opportunity to include films by local authors in the programs of other festivals, especially within the Eushort network.

The authors will be informed about all guest appearances.

FINAL PROVISIONS

ARTICLE 13

By submitting material about the film, the producer or director authorizes TFF to use and publish all the listed materials in the TFF catalog and authorizes him to use the material in all promotional activities that TFF will conduct. The participants of TFF agree that clips from the films can be shown on Croatian and foreign TV stations, as well as on the Internet and in printed materials for the purpose of promoting the festival.

ARTICLE 14

The applicant confirms that he is the author and owner of the rights of the film / films he / she is applying for screening at the Festival and that he / she has resolved all literary, dramatic, musical and other rights.

ARTICLE 15

The above rulebook is written in Croatian. Items that do not comply with this Ordinance will be considered separately by the organizers in accordance with the generally established Ordinance. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of all the above provisions of the Regulations without exception.

ARTICLE 16

In case of a dispute, the court in Zagreb has jurisdiction.
