CINEMA AL FRESCO
Thanks to the sucess of his first feature-length film The Load – which premiered as part of the official competition program at last year’s Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, and has since received wide-world acclaim among film festival juries and audiences alike – Ognjen Glavonić has become one of the most significant film directors in the ex-Yu region of the day.
The retrospective of Glavonić’s work at Tabor Film Festival will mark the Croatian premiere of some of his short films, including three titles, “Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocal”, “Živan Pujić Jimmy”, and “Made of Ashes”, followed by a Q & A session with the director.
Lastly, Glavonić will participate in the festival also as a member of the International Competition Jury.
Živan is at the peak of his creative power. However, the world is right behind him.
Vuk spends the day getting ready to do something that should have been done much earlier.
Ten years after the democratic revolution in Serbia, Dejan is again in a situation to change his life. The film was made as part of the October anthology film.
