The starting point for this work were the slides found at Zora Film, a company that produced educational films in the 1950s. Intended to be used as visual tools during geography classes, these images were taken in different parts of the world. However, the author chooses to work with only one motif – mountainscapes. The film turns into a psycho-geographical journey, leading the viewer into various, sometimes intense inner states.
In the 1950s grandmother’s sister moved with her husband to Germany. The photos they send document their new life in the West.
I am one. One of many. One of everyone yet the only one. What is it that I am looking for, that always seems out of reach?
One apple, three toasts and a yoghurt intertwined with an athletic track captured on the pages of old teenage diaries bring up some painful memories.
An abstract travelogue around the skylines of cities I have not been to. These are dystopian virtual travels from São Paulo and Dubai to Dhaka and beyond. The images of cities might be abstract, but I have recognized and picked them out of hundreds of thousands of photograms. Far from tourist postcards, these mental images stem from my knowledge and my prejudices, visualized in a flash of abstract figures.
Marina’s month-long vacation is nearing its end, after which she leaves for another six months to work on a cruiser as a housekeeping supervisor. As the separation from her children is getting closer, Marina grows increasingly anxious.

Tanja was an everyday scene at her window, from where she was watching the street. The girls playing in the street could, through that window, gain a small insight into her life, which was what remained of a much bigger story.

Something happens. Time stops. Two people are trapped in a space of tragedy, where their voices are not reaching one another. But when everything burns to the ground, hope remains.
Imbued Life is a film about a young woman’s connection with the life force of nature. She uses her talent for taxidermy to “restore” the animals to their natural habitat. However, the true search for the answers begins when she starts finding rolls of undeveloped film in each of the animals she treats. Her obsession drives her to seek the explanation of the connection she feels, haunting her dreams, as well as her waking moments.
Through a feminist lens, the filmmakers pay homage to their professor Marija Ujević Galetović – one of Croatia’s most important sculptors. Marija’s life story and views are told through a combination of video footage and animation of her feminine sculptures.
